It’s time to have your say on the Druids Heath regeneration plans, as the public consultation is now open.
To find out how to get involved, watch our explainer animation below or continue reading.
All of the submissions from the original consultation will still be included, but this is your chance to give your thoughts on the latest outline planning application.
Some key changes to be aware of this time:
- The number of social rented homes has now gone up from 11.4% to 20%
- New and improved public spaces, like parks and play areas
Local households will have received information in the post, explaining how and when you can take part. Display notices are also visible around the estate with more information.
We understand that the planning process can feel complex. To help you get involved, we’re working with Planning Aid England and Loconomy.
They are on hand to help people learn more about the plans and support anyone who would like to submit comments.
There will be a free drop-in event to help residents understand the proposals and the planning process, which will take place on 15 September from 11am to 3pm at the Regeneration Room, Idmiston Croft.
The consultation is due to close Wednesday, 7th October.
